Bronze Statues Bronze Statues. In their long history of more than a thousand years of bronze statue crafting the ancient Greeks crafted thousands of statues of gods and heroes, statesmen, philosophers and athletes that filled temples and sanctuaries, and stood in the public areas of major cities.
Greek artists created hundreds of statue types whose influence continues to the present day. Many of these Greek Statues unearthed allover Greece are displayed in the Greek museums and many museums abroad.
Our brass sculptures are meticulously hand-cast in sand moulds by Manolis and Kostoula, artisan friends of ours in Crete Greece. Color is added by means of different acids applied at high temperatures, and so, unlike paint, will not rub off or chip.
